How it stacks up, my honest take
A beautifully preserved Victorian gem, this inn made our stay unforgettable! With welcoming hosts, delicious breakfasts, and scenic porches for sipping wine, we felt pampered. The proximity to local attractions meant we barely moved our car! Enjoy your time here, just be prepared for some creaky floors. It's worth it!

The truth, what’s good and what’s not
The location is superb, just a stroll away from downtown! Plus, breakfast was a culinary delight, beautifully presented with fresh ingredients, and the staff exuded a welcoming vibe.
Yet, the complimentary wines left much to be desired! and some rooms could use more thorough cleaning to enhance the overall experience.

Cedar House Inn had a cozy charm. The location was fantastic, right near the historic area, making it easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast impressed me, fresh and beautifully presented each day. Homemade dishes really stood out, but the variety could use some expansion. The staff were genuinely friendly and provided helpful recommendations. The room felt comfortable but could use a little more space for luggage. I did notice the mattress felt overly soft. it made sleeping a bit challenging. Free wine and snacks were a nice touch for late arrivals, and the outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing with a drink. Some noise from other guests echoed through the halls at night, which disrupted the peaceful vibe. Still, it feels like a place you can return to. Overall, Cedar House Inn is a warm retreat with small areas for improvement.

Unexpected Chill in the Air
Woke up to a scrumptious breakfast spread and charming staff. Every night, I enjoyed a cozy glass of complimentary wine on the lovely porch.
However, the air conditioning in my room struggled to keep cool, turning my nights into a bit of a sweaty adventure.

charming stay with room for improvement
The ambiance is inviting with many cozy seating areas for quiet moments. Breakfast every morning was exceptionally delightful with fresh options. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel valued during our stay.
However, I noticed some areas in the room could have used more attention to detail.

St. Augustine's culinary scene is on fire! We savored every bite at nearby joints like Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille, where the gumbo had us coming back for more. The complimentary beverages at the inn were a real cherry on top. Plus, the location is prime for exploring the historic district.
Unfortunately, the housekeeping could use some TLC. Our bed looked like a tornado hit it a few times, and the towels just hung around. It might've been a laugh, but I expected better for the price. Also, options at breakfast were a bit limited, variety would’ve really hit the spot!
